Swat 2

by Chris Bowden

Swat 2 is the sequel to Swat, which is the 5th game in the Police Quest series. In the past Sierra have worked closely with retired policeman Chief Daryl F.Gates to produce some realistic police sims. Swat 2 will have a very different approach to previous titles, it looks to have a Syndicate style of movement. You get to take on the roles of either the Swat team or terrorists, from there you move your little men around the great looking 3D environments. Little is known on what you can actually do when in control, but you will have full use over police choppers, K-9's, Snipers, Swat tanks and the Swat team arsenal. The most amazing thing that is being promised is the brilliant AI. It will think for itself and make demands, and if it has to it will come out shooting. This is easily one of the most anticipated games of the year.
